Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: Add the avocado, egg, and shredded mozzarella cheese into a medium bowl. Mash and mix thoroughly with a fork until all components are well combined into a uniform mixture.
  2. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: If baking, preheat your oven to 400ºF. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. Shape the Patties for Oven: Divide the mixture into 2-3 equal balls. Place them onto the lined baking sheet, then use the back of a spoon to gently flatten each ball into a patty shape. Optionally, sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning or salt for extra flavor.
  4. Bake: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the patties turn golden brown.
  5. Preheat Air Fryer and Prepare Basket: If using an air fryer, preheat it to 400ºF. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
