Description

A quick and delicious 5-minute tiramisu iced latte that combines rich espresso with creamy mascarpone cold foam, sweetened with vanilla and maple syrup. Perfect as a refreshing and indulgent coffee treat.

Ingredients

Latte Base

  • 1-2 shots of espresso
  • ⅓ cup milk of choice

Cold Foam

  • 1 tbsp mascarpone cheese
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Garnish (optional)

  • 1 ladyfinger cookie
  • ½ tsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso: Prepare 1-2 shots of espresso using your preferred method. Allow the espresso to cool slightly to avoid melting the ice immediately.
  2. Make the cold foam: In a frother or a small bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, vanilla bean paste, and maple syrup until the mixture becomes thick and creamy, forming a luscious cold foam.
  3. Assemble the latte: Fill a glass with ice, pour the brewed espresso over the ice, then add the ⅓ cup of milk of choice, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Add the cold foam: Spoon the prepared mascarpone cold foam over the top of the iced latte, creating a rich, creamy layer.
  5. Garnish and serve: Optionally, top the latte with a ladyfinger cookie resting on the rim and dust the cold foam lightly with cocoa powder. Sip and enjoy your tiramisu-inspired iced latte!

Notes

  • Use any milk of choice including dairy or plant-based alternatives for customization.
  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of maple syrup in the cold foam.
  • The mascarpone cold foam can also be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
  • For a vegan version, substitute mascarpone and heavy cream with plant-based alternatives.
  • The ladyfinger garnish adds an authentic tiramisu touch but can be omitted.
