Description

Delicious and easy-to-make breakfast sliders featuring Hawaiian rolls stuffed with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties, and cheddar cheese, brushed with a flavorful maple butter topping and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for a hearty morning meal or brunch with family and friends.

Ingredients

Slider Base

  • 16 oz package Hawaiian rolls (12 count)

Filling

  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12 turkey sausage patties
  • 10 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Topping

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons everything but the bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon fresh minced chives
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Rolls: Slice the sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half crosswise and arrange the bottom half evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Cook Sausage Patties: In a large skillet, cook the turkey sausage patties according to the package directions until fully cooked. Set them aside.
  4. Whisk Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Scramble Eggs: Heat an oiled skillet over medium heat and scramble the egg mixture until cooked through but still moist. Remove from heat.
  6. Assemble Sliders – Layer One: Evenly spread the scrambled eggs over the bottom layer of Hawaiian rolls in the baking dish.
  7. Assemble Sliders – Layer Two: Place the cooked turkey sausage patties on top of the scrambled eggs.
  8. Add Cheese: Carefully layer the cheddar cheese slices over the sausage patties.
  9. Top With Bun: Place the top half of the Hawaiian roll sheet over the cheese layer to close the sliders.
  10. Prepare Topping: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrup, everything but the bagel seasoning, and minced chives. Stir well.
  11. Brush Topping: Generously brush the maple butter mixture evenly across the tops of the slider buns.
  12. Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
  13. Brown Tops: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes to brown and crisp the tops of the sliders.
  14. Serve: Remove from oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy your breakfast sliders!
