Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In the inner pot of your Instant Pot pressure cooker, combine the rice, milk, water, sugar, star anise, ground cinnamon, raisins, and a pinch of salt.
- Mix Well: Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure the sugar and cinnamon are well distributed without any lumps.
- Pressure Cook: Close and lock the lid of the Instant Pot. Press the MANUAL (pressure cooking) button and set the cooking time to 5 minutes.
- Pressure Release: After the cooking cycle ends, let the pressure release naturally for 7 minutes before manually releasing any remaining pressure.
- Finish and Serve: Once the lid is safely open, stir the pudding well, then mix in the butter. Taste and add extra sweetener if desired. Serve warm or chilled and enjoy!
