Description
Delicious and easy-to-make No-Bake Cookies that come together in just minutes. Combining oats, cocoa, peanut butter, and vanilla, these sweet treats are perfect when you want a quick dessert without turning on the oven.
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats (reduce by 1/4 cup if using quick oats)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- Pre-measure Ingredients: Gather and measure all ingredients before starting as the process moves quickly.
- Prepare Baking Sheets: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside to receive the cookie scoops.
- Boil Mixture: In a large pot over high heat, combine butter, milk, and sugar. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring continuously for 1 minute for the sugar to dissolve and mixture to thicken slightly, then remove from heat.
- Mix Remaining Ingredients: Quickly stir in the cocoa powder, peanut butter, oats, and vanilla extract until all ingredients are well combined and form a thick dough.
- Form Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dollops of the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them evenly.
- Allow to Set: Let the cookies cool and set for 5 to 10 minutes until firm enough to lift off the parchment paper. Then, enjoy these fudgy, chewy treats.
Notes
- Use old-fashioned oats for the best texture. Quick oats can be substituted by reducing the amount by 1/4 cup.
- Work quickly when mixing and scooping as the mixture sets fast when cooling.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
