Description

This no-bake peanut butter fudge with pretzels is a deliciously creamy and crunchy treat that combines smooth peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and crunchy pretzels. Ready in just minutes and set in the refrigerator, it’s a perfect easy dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk (1 large can)
  • 1 cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Pretzel Twists
  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat Peanut Butter and Condensed Milk: In a medium saucepan, combine the peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is smooth and well combined, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Remove from Heat: Once the mixture is smooth and heated through, remove the saucepan from the heat to prevent overcooking.
  3. Prepare Pretzels: Crush the pretzels into small pieces, but reserve about 10 to 12 whole pretzels for decoration on top.
  4. Mix in Sugar and Pretzels: Fold the powdered sugar and crushed pretzels into the warm peanut butter mixture until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour into Pan: Transfer the mixture into a 5 by 9 inch loaf pan and smooth the surface evenly with a spatula.
  6. Add Pretzel Topping: Gently press the reserved whole pretzels into the top of the fudge to decorate.
  7. Refrigerate: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm and set.

Notes

  • Use smooth peanut butter for a creamy texture; crunchy peanut butter can also be used for added texture.
  • Ensure the fudge cools slightly before adding powdered sugar to prevent lumps.
  • The loaf pan size helps in achieving an ideal thickness; if using a different pan, adjust chilling time as needed.
  • Store the fudge refrigerated and consume within 5 days for best freshness.
  • This recipe can be doubled easily by using a larger pan.
