This creamy and tangy olive dip combines full-fat sour cream, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chopped olives for a flavorful appetizer perfect for serving with pita crackers. It’s quick to prepare, requires no cooking, and is ideal for parties or casual snacking.

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 8 oz. full fat sour cream, room temperature
  • 8 oz. full fat cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive brine
  • 5.75 ounce jar olives, drained and chopped (slice a few for garnish before chopping the rest)
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

Serving

  • Pita crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine base ingredients. In a medium bowl, add the full fat cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried minced onion, olive brine, and a couple large pinches of kosher salt and freshly cracked pepper to start with seasoning.
  2. Whip the mixture. Use an electric mixer to whip all ingredients together until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and well blended with no lumps remaining.
  3. Fold in chopped olives. Gently fold in the chopped olives ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dip. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
