Ingredients
Popcorn Base
- 1 bag popcorn (popped, kernels removed)
Candy Coating and Toppings
- ½ cup white candy melts
- ½ cup pink candy melts
- 2 tbsp. Valentines sprinkles
- ¼ cup Valentines M&Ms
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Sheet: Place a piece of parchment paper or wax paper on a large baking sheet. Spread the popped popcorn evenly over the sheet to create a single layer.
- Melt White Candy: Put the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval until the candy is fully melted and smooth. Alternatively, melt the candy over a double boiler on medium heat.
- Drizzle White Candy: Pour the melted white candy in a drizzling motion over the popcorn to coat it evenly.
- Add Half of Sprinkles and M&Ms: Sprinkle about half of the Valentines sprinkles and M&Ms evenly on top of the popcorn to add color and texture.
- Melt Pink Candy: Melt the pink candy melts using the same microwave or double boiler method until smooth.
- Drizzle Pink Candy: Drizzle the melted pink candy over the popcorn, covering the surface and toppings for a vibrant pink finish.
- Top with Remaining Sprinkles and M&Ms: Sprinkle the remaining Valentines sprinkles and M&Ms evenly over the popcorn mixture to complete the decoration.
- Set and Serve: Allow the popcorn mixture to sit at room temperature until the candy melts harden and solidify. Once set, gently toss the popcorn to mix toppings and break up clumps, then serve immediately.
