Description

This indulgent Reese’s Lasagna dessert combines a crunchy Oreo crust with layers of creamy peanut butter, rich chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping, all garnished with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and a drizzle of chocolate sauce for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 30 Oreos (crushed)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • ½ cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (divided)

Chocolate Pudding Layer

  • 2 (3.4 oz) chocolate pudding packets
  • 3 cups cold milk

Topping and Garnish

  • 8 ounces whipped topping (remaining from 16 ounces total)
  • 25 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups (chopped)
  • Chocolate sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 13×9-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Make Oreo crust: Combine the crushed Oreos and melted butter in a large mixing bowl until well blended. Evenly press the mixture into the greased baking dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake crust (optional): Bake the crust for 8 minutes to crisp it up, then remove and allow to cool completely. Alternatively, skip baking and freeze the crust while preparing other layers.
  4. Prepare peanut butter mixture: Using an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Fold in whipped topping: Gently fold 8 ounces of whipped topping into the peanut butter mixture until just combined to maintain a light texture.
  6. Assemble peanut butter layer: Spread the peanut butter cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled Oreo crust, then refrigerate while preparing the next layer.
  7. Make chocolate pudding layer: In a medium bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding packets and cold milk until smooth and thickened.
  8. Add pudding layer: Remove the dish from the refrigerator and evenly spread the chocolate pudding over the peanut butter layer.
  9. Top with whipped cream: Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the chocolate pudding layer for a fluffy finish.
  10. Garnish with Reese’s cups: Sprinkle the chopped mini Reese’s peanut butter cups over the whipped topping.
  11. Chill: Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least one hour or overnight to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld.
  12. Serve: Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top before slicing and serving. Enjoy this rich and creamy layered treat!

Notes

  • Baking the Oreo crust is optional but helps achieve a crisper base.
  • Chilling overnight improves the flavor and texture of the dessert.
  • For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to avoid lumps in the peanut butter layer.
  • Feel free to substitute mini Reese’s cups with chopped full-size Reese’s or peanut butter candies.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and consumed within 3 days.
