Ingredients

For the Sesame Dressing

  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

For the Salad

  • 2 (5 oz.) cans chunk light tuna in water, drained
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  1. Prepare the sesame dressing: In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, brown sugar, and sesame seeds. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the ingredients are well mixed to create a flavorful dressing.
  2. Prepare the tuna and vegetables: Drain the tuna thoroughly and place it in a mixing bowl. Dice the red bell pepper and slice the green onions, then add them to the bowl with the tuna. (The remaining half of the bell pepper can be served on the side.)
  3. Combine and serve: Pour the prepared sesame dressing over the tuna and vegetables. Gently fold all the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated with the dressing. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat.
