Description

These 2-ingredient Nutella Cookie Cups are a simple and delicious treat made by baking ready-to-bake chocolate chip cookie dough in mini muffin pans and then filling the cooled cookie cups with creamy Nutella. Perfect for a quick dessert or snack that combines the warmth of freshly baked cookies with the rich chocolate-hazelnut flavor of Nutella.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 package (24 count) ready-to-bake chocolate chip cookie dough (or any flavor)
  • 1 ½ cups Nutella (or any dessert spread)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare pans: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray mini muffin pans with nonstick baking spray that contains flour, or grease and flour the pans thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  2. Bake cookie dough: Place one ball of cookie dough into each muffin pan cavity. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until the cookies are fully baked and lightly golden on the edges.
  3. Form cookie cups: Let the cookies cool for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, gently press the center of each cookie with the back of a wooden spoon handle or the rounded end of a ½ teaspoon to create a cup shape.
  4. Cool and remove: Allow the cookie cups to cool completely before removing them from the pan. Carefully loosen the edges with a butter knife and gently pop the cookie cups out to keep their shape intact.
  5. Fill with Nutella: Spoon about ¾ tablespoon of Nutella into each cooled cookie cup. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Notes

  • Make sure to grease and flour the muffin pans well, or use a nonstick spray with flour to prevent cookies from sticking.
  • Do not try to remove the cookie cups while warm, as they will be fragile and likely to break.
  • You can substitute Nutella with other dessert spreads like peanut butter, caramel, or cookie butter for different flavors.
  • If you want to add extra texture, consider topping the Nutella with chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips.
  • Freezing the filled cookie cups in an airtight container can help preserve freshness for longer storage.
