Ingredients
Chocolate Flavor
- 2/3 cup Greek yogurt (5%, 2%, or 0%)
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup (or honey or agave)
- 3 Tbsp chocolate protein powder (or cocoa powder)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 3 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
Orange Flavor
- 2 Tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/8 tsp almond extract
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 3 Tbsp chocolate protein powder (or cocoa powder)
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
Blueberry Flavor
- 1/3 cup blueberries
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
Cookies and Cream Flavor
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup crushed chocolate cookies
- 3 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare each flavor mixture: In separate bowls, whisk together the ingredients assigned to each popsicle flavor until smooth and well combined. You may use the same bowl for multiple flavors by washing it thoroughly between each one to avoid flavor mixing.
- Fill the popsicle molds: Using a spoon, fill two slots of the popsicle mold with each prepared flavor mixture. Make sure the fillings are evenly distributed and gently tap the mold on the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Insert sticks and freeze: Place the lid on the mold and insert the popsicle sticks into each slot. Transfer the mold to the freezer and allow the popsicles to set solid for at least 5 hours or until completely frozen.
- Serve and enjoy: Once fully frozen, remove the popsicles from the molds by gently running warm water on the outside of the mold for a few seconds. Then, carefully pull out the popsicles and enjoy your refreshing frozen treat!
Notes
- You can substitute the protein powder with cocoa powder if you prefer a nonsupplement option.
- Maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup can be used interchangeably as natural sweeteners.
- Feel free to omit the vanilla protein powder if you want to reduce protein content or simplify ingredients.
- Ensure the popsicle molds are tightly sealed before freezing to prevent spills and ice crystals.
- Try experimenting with other fruit purees or nut butters for additional flavor variations.
