Ingredients
General Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen fruit, thawed for 30 minutes at room temperature or 30 seconds in the microwave
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave
Flavors
- Mint leaves for color (for kiwi pineapple flavor)
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 2 cups frozen mango
- 2 cups frozen peach
- 1 cup frozen kiwi
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen dragonfruit
- 1 cup frozen raspberry
Instructions
- Prepare Fruit: Thaw the frozen fruit for 30 minutes at room temperature or for 30 seconds in the microwave to soften it slightly, making it easier to blend.
- Blend Mixture: Add the thawed fruit to a blender along with 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice, and 2 tablespoons of honey or agave. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and uniform.
- Pour into Sleeves: Using a funnel, carefully pour the blended fruit mixture into popsicle sleeves or molds to avoid spills and mess.
- Freeze: Place the filled popsicle sleeves into the freezer and allow them to freeze completely. This should take approximately 8 hours or preferably overnight to ensure they are fully solidified.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon or lime juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey/agave based on your taste preference.
- Add mint leaves to the kiwi and pineapple blend for a visually appealing green tint.
- Make sure the fruit is only partially thawed before blending to maintain texture and chill.
- Freeze the pops fully before serving to avoid melting.
