Description

This Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is a refreshing and vibrant drink that combines sweet homemade strawberry syrup with the earthy flavors of ceremonial grade matcha. Perfectly chilled and lightly sweetened with monk fruit, it’s a delightful beverage for warm days or any time you crave a healthy, energizing treat.

Ingredients

Strawberry Syrup (makes 1 cup, for 4 drinks)

  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • ¼ cup Granulated Monk Fruit Sweetener

Matcha Latte

  • 1 tablespoon Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder
  • ⅓ cup Hot Water
  • ¾ cup Milk of Choice (cashew milk recommended)
  • Ice (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry syrup: Start by adding the strawberries and monk fruit sweetener to a blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. If you don’t have a blender, mash the strawberries thoroughly until smooth enough to be sipped through a straw.
  2. Make the matcha: In a small bowl, combine the matcha powder with the hot water. Whisk vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and free of any clumps.
  3. Assemble the latte: Pour the prepared strawberry syrup into the bottom of a glass. Fill the glass with ice to your preference.
  4. Add milk and matcha: Pour in the milk of choice carefully over the ice and then add the whisked matcha on top.
  5. Final touch and serve: Add extra ice if desired. Stir gently to swirl the flavors together before serving and enjoy your refreshing iced strawberry matcha latte.
