Description

A refreshing and flavorful Layered Greek Dip featuring creamy hummus, tangy tzatziki, and fresh diced vegetables. This no-cook appetizer is perfect for parties or casual gatherings and pairs wonderfully with pita, crackers, or veggies.

Ingredients

Dip Layers

  • 12 oz container of hummus
  • 10-12 oz container of tzatziki

Fresh Vegetable Toppings

  • 1 medium English cucumber, finely diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

Garnishes

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp capers (or sliced olives)
  • 3 tbsp fresh chopped mint

Instructions

  1. Spread Hummus: Evenly spread the 12 oz container of hummus on the bottom of a shallow serving dish or platter to create the first layer of the dip.
  2. Layer Tzatziki: Gently spoon the 10-12 oz container of tzatziki over the hummus, taking care not to mix the layers, forming the second layer of the dip.
  3. Add Fresh Vegetables: Sprinkle the finely diced English cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion evenly over the tzatziki layer to add freshness and texture.
  4. Top with Garnishes: Add crumbled feta cheese, capers or sliced olives, and fresh chopped mint as the final flavorful layer on top.
  5. Serve: Serve the layered Greek dip immediately with pita crackers, pita bread, fresh vegetables, or your choice of crackers for dipping.

Notes

  • This dip is best served fresh to maintain the layers and crispness of the vegetables.
  • For added spice, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes or a drizzle of olive oil on top.
  • Substitute capers with sliced kalamata olives if preferred.
  • Keep refrigerated if not serving immediately, but allow to come to room temperature before serving for best flavor.
  • Perfect for entertaining or as a healthy snack option.
