Description

These No Bake Chocolate Filled Oat Bars are a delicious and easy-to-make snack combining wholesome oats, creamy peanut butter, and rich dark chocolate. They require no baking and come together in just 30 minutes, making them perfect for a quick, nutritious treat that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Honey (or agave)
  • ½ Cup Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Chocolate Filling

  • ½ Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • ¼ Cup Creamy Peanut Butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the bars later.
  2. Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and vanilla protein powder. Add the honey, natural creamy peanut butter, and vanilla extract, then use a handheld mixer to blend the mixture until well combined.
  3. Form the Base Layer: Press half of the oat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Melt Chocolate Filling: In a microwave-safe bowl, gently melt the dark chocolate chips and the ¼ cup of creamy peanut butter together until smooth and fully combined.
  5. Assemble and Chill: Pour the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the oat base layer in the pan. Place the pan in the freezer and chill for about 20 minutes or until the chocolate filling has solidified.
  6. Add Top Layer and Serve: Press the remaining oat mixture evenly over the hardened chocolate layer. Cut the assembled bar into 12 even squares before serving. Store the bars in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy removal of the bars.
  • Substitute honey with agave syrup for a vegan option.
  • Make sure to chill long enough for the chocolate layer to firm up.
  • Store bars in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and maintain texture.
  • Protein powder can be substituted with your preferred flavor or brand.
