Description
Delicious and easy No Bake Cookie Butter Cookies that come together in just 15 minutes. These rich, chocolatey cookies combine the flavors of cocoa, cookie butter, and oats for a chewy, satisfying treat without the need for an oven.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter (one stick)
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup whole milk
- 3 cups quick oats
- ¾ cup cookie butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large saucepan (at least 2.5 quarts), add the butter, whole milk, sugar, and cocoa powder. Stir these together over medium heat until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
- Boil the Mixture: Bring the mixture to a boil and allow it to boil for a full 60 seconds. After boiling, remove the pan from heat and immediately stir in the quick oats, cookie butter, vanilla extract, and sea salt until everything is fully incorporated.
- Form Cookies: Use a cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Press each scoop down slightly to form cookie shapes. If the mixture is too thin and does not hold together, add an additional ¼ cup of oats and stir to thicken the dough. You can chill the cookies in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow them to set, or enjoy them warm as they taste great either way.
- Store Properly: Store your no bake cookies at room temperature for up to 5 days or keep them refrigerated for up to one week to maintain freshness.
Notes
- If the cookies do not hold their shape, adding more oats will help thicken the consistency.
- Cookies can be enjoyed warm or chilled according to your preference.
- For best results, use quick oats to ensure the proper texture.
- Store in an airtight container to keep the cookies fresh longer.
- Cookie butter adds a unique flavor, but you may substitute with peanut butter for a different twist.
