Ingredients
Flatbread Base
- 2 naan flatbreads
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
Toppings
- 6 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and thinly sliced
- 2 peaches, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons thinly sliced red onion
- 3/4 cup blackberries
Garnish
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup arugula
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
- Honey or hot honey, for drizzling
- 3 tablespoons chopped pistachios, optional, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the flatbreads.
- Prepare the flatbread base: Arrange the naan flatbreads on a large baking sheet. Brush each naan evenly with olive oil and sprinkle with the minced garlic to add flavor.
- Add toppings: Distribute the thinly sliced brie cheese evenly over the naan. Top with thinly sliced peaches, red onion, and blackberries for a fresh and colorful balance of flavors.
- Bake the flatbreads: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 7 to 10 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the flatbread edges turn a light golden brown.
- Add final garnishes: Remove the flatbreads from the oven and immediately top with fresh basil leaves and arugula. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top, drizzle with honey or hot honey for a touch of sweetness and heat, and optionally sprinkle with chopped pistachios for added crunch.
- Serve: Cut the flatbreads into pieces and serve immediately while warm and fresh.
Notes
- For a crispier base, you can prebake the naan for a few minutes before adding toppings.
- If brie rind is preferred, you may leave it on for extra flavor and texture.
- Hot honey adds a pleasant spicy kick but can be substituted with regular honey for a milder taste.
- Chopped pistachios add a nice crunchy texture but can be omitted if desired.
- Use ripe peaches for the best sweetness and juiciness.
