Description

Indulge in a decadent dessert with the Slutty Brownie Recipe, featuring a rich layered treat of chewy cookie dough, whole Oreos, and gooey homemade brownies baked to perfection. This easy-to-follow recipe yields 24 luscious squares perfect for sharing or satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

Cookie Layer

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ⅓ cup (57g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (100g) light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups (186g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups (255g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
  • 24 Oreos (any flavor)

Brownie Layer

  • 4 ounces (113g) unsweetened baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter
  • 1 ¾ cups (350g) granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons (10g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (124g) all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with foil or parchment paper and lightly spray it with cooking spray to ensure easy removal of the brownies.
  2. Make the Cookie Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Stir until well combined. Add the egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt, mixing thoroughly. Gradually add the flour and stir until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Press Cookie Layer: Evenly press the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared pan, creating a uniform base. Once spread, place the Oreos evenly over the cookie dough layer.
  4. Prepare Brownie Batter: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped baking chocolate and butter. Heat on high in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the granulated sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and salt, stirring well after each addition. Mix in the cocoa powder, then carefully fold in the flour until just incorporated.
  5. Assemble and Bake: Spread the brownie batter evenly over the Oreo layer in the baking pan. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is set and no longer jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting out with the foil or parchment. Cut into 24 squares and enjoy your rich, layered dessert.

Notes

  • Ensure the brownie batter is spread evenly to cook uniformly.
  • Use parchment paper for easier removal and cleaner edges.
  • Check doneness around 30 minutes to avoid overbaking; the center should be set but moist.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Feel free to customize with different Oreo flavors or chocolate chips.
