Ingredients
Whipped Cream
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Mixture
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Crust
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup butter, melted
Additional
- ¾ cup seedless strawberry jam
- Sliced fresh strawberries (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Whipped Cream: In a chilled large mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, ¼ cup powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer with chilled beaters, beat the mixture on low speed gradually increasing to medium-high for about 4 minutes, or until stiff peaks form.
- Cream Cheese: In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with ¼ cup powdered sugar using an electric mixer until smooth and fully combined.
- Combine: Reserve one rounded cup of whipped cream for topping. Gently fold the remaining whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture on low speed until evenly combined.
- Crust: In a small bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture looks crumbly and sand-like.
- Assemble: Divide the graham cracker crust evenly among six 9-ounce dessert cups, being careful not to pack it too firmly. Next, layer the cheesecake filling evenly on top of the crust, followed by spooning the strawberry jam over each. If the jam is thick, warm it briefly in the microwave (20 to 30 seconds) to make spreading easier. Finish each cup with a generous swirl of the reserved whipped cream.
- Chill: Refrigerate the assembled dessert cups for at least 20 minutes to set. Just before serving, garnish with sliced fresh strawberries if desired.
Notes
- For best results, chill your mixing bowls and beaters before whipping the cream to help achieve stiff peaks faster.
- If cream cheese isn’t fully softened, it may cause lumps; allow it to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before mixing.
- Warming the strawberry jam slightly will make it easier to spread smoothly over the cheesecake layer.
- These dessert cups are best served within 24 hours, kept refrigerated to maintain freshness.
- Use seedless jam for a smoother texture and to avoid seeds in the dessert cups.
