Description

These refreshing Strawberry Mango Popsicles are a perfect summer treat, combining the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries and mangoes with a hint of honey. Easy to make with just a blender and popsicle molds, they are a healthy and delicious frozen snack for all ages.

Ingredients

Fruit Puree

  • 1 cup (170 grams) fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup (170 grams) fresh or frozen mango, peeled and chopped

Liquids and Sweeteners

  • 1/2 cup (113 grams) water (divided into 1/4 cup portions)
  • 2 tablespoons (42 grams) honey or agave syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Strawberries: In a blender, combine the strawberries with 1/4 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of honey, if using. Blend until smooth.
  2. Fill Molds with Strawberry Puree: Pour the strawberry puree into the popsicle molds, filling each mold halfway. If there is leftover strawberry puree, pour it into a measuring cup and set aside.
  3. Clean Blender and Blend Mangoes: Rinse the blender, then add the mango pieces, the remaining 1/4 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of honey, if using. Blend until smooth.
  4. Layer Mango Puree: Pour the mango puree evenly into the popsicle molds over the strawberry layer. Optionally, spoon any leftover strawberry puree on top for extra flavor and layered effect.
  5. Insert Sticks and Freeze: Insert the popsicle sticks and freeze the molds for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until completely solid.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen fruit depending on availability and preference.
  • Honey or agave syrup is optional; omit for a naturally sweetened treat.
  • To easily remove popsicles from the molds, briefly run warm water on the outside of the molds.
  • Feel free to experiment with other fruit combinations for variety.
  • For a smoother texture, strain the purees before filling molds if desired.
