Popcorn
- 1 cup popcorn seeds
- Oil (for popping popcorn)
Chocolate and Candy Mix
- 2 – 12 ounce packages premier white chocolate morsels
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 cup marshmallows
- 1/4 cup green chocolate melts
- 1/4 cup red chocolate melts
- Christmas sprinkles (quantity as desired)
Instructions
- Pop the Popcorn: Heat a popcorn popper with a small amount of oil, add 1/2 cup of popcorn seeds, and pop according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Repeat with the remaining 1/2 cup of seeds. Spread the popped popcorn onto a tray or large bowl.
- Melt White Chocolate: In the microwave, melt one 12-ounce bag of white chocolate morsels at 75% power for 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Repeat the process for the second bag.
- Add Peanuts: While melting the chocolate, add 1 cup of peanuts to the popcorn. Adjust quantity to taste if desired.
- Combine Popcorn and Chocolate: Pour the melted white chocolate over the popcorn and peanuts, stirring gently to coat everything evenly.
- Add Marshmallows: Mix in 1 cup of marshmallows, stirring carefully to incorporate them throughout the coated popcorn.
- Drizzle Colored Chocolate: Melt the green and red chocolate melts separately following package instructions. Drizzle both colors over the popcorn mixture for a festive look.
- Top with Sprinkles: Sprinkle Christmas-themed sprinkles evenly over the popcorn while the chocolate drizzle is still wet.
- Set and Harden: Allow the popcorn mixture to sit for 30 minutes at room temperature to let the chocolate harden before serving and enjoying.
